Dr Adeel Khan is a Lecturer at the School of Health. By training, he is a sociologist, with special interest in social theory and critical thinking. He holds a Masters degree in Communication and a PhD in Sociology. His teaching areas include Introductory Sociology, Sociology of Health and Illness, International Health, Public Health, Community Health, Dynamics of Health and Health Management. His research interests include issues of identity, ethnicity, nationalism and fundamentalism. Adeel has previously coordinated the Doctor of Health Services Management (DHSM) program, and the offshore programs in Health Management and Gerontology in Hong Kong.
