Aileen Kennedy spent ten years in legal practice and seven years in legal academia prior to commencing at UNE in 2003. She recently completed her LLM at the University of Sydney. Her research is in the area of health law, focussing on the law relating to brain death, withdrawal of treatment, consent, non-therapeutic body modification and medical negligence. She currently teaches Contract Law and Commercial Law.
