Anthea has a passion in Neuroscience Nursing and has extensive experience in Critical Care settings as a Clinical Specialist and Educator. She brings with her 8 years of teaching and coordination of postgraduate courses in critical care and neuroscience in a dynamic partnership between a large university and an area health service. Prior to her move to teaching at the tertiary level, Anthea was a clinical educator in Critical Care and Neurosurgical Intensive Care at a tertiary teaching hospital, and a Nurse Educator for an Area health Professional Development Department. Antheas' keen interest in teaching and how students learn lead her to achieve a Masters Degree in Nursing with a major in Adult Education. This passion for teaching and learning has continued with her development of various modes of delivery in the e-learning environment. Anthea plans to develop simulation strategies in clinical teaching and implement simulation effectively in the e-learning environment for rural nursing students.
