Biography

Dr Kelly is a general physician at the Armidale Rural Referral Hospital.  Prior to retraining as a general physician Dr Kelly worked for over 20 years in clinical and academic HIV medicine.  During this period he worked across basic science, acute antiretroviral therapy and in long term innovative strategies in the management of patients with HIV disease.  He participated in clinical (and basic science) research at the local, national and international level. He continues to be interested in the application of evidence-based medicine to improve outcomes of patients living in rural and remote communities.
