Research Interests
One of my research interests is in the management of grazing and intensively housed farm animals. My most recent research in this area has focused on the feeding behaviour of farm animals and the interface between plant and animals including plant species and food choices and spatial distribution. Such studies should help to identify methods to allow manipulation of grazing animal distribution and prevention of behaviours that may have adverse effects on farm resources such as riparian zones, water quality, nutrient distribution etc.
Speciality Area/s:
- Animal Behaviour
