Group Fitness

Please click on any of the links below to check out Sport UNE's excellent fitness programs.  For your safety, please arrive at your class or program 10 minutes early to ensure you participate in the warm-up at the beginning of every session.  We also strongly recommend you stay for the cool-down at the end of the session to minimise risk of injury.  Please also remember to bring your drink bottle and a towel too!

If you would like to speak to any of the instructors regarding classes and/or programs, simply arrive a little earlier for your session, or stay back afterwards and our instructors will be more than happy to answer any of your questions.

(Please note, a program's intensity is measured according to difficulty, with one being lowest intensity, and five being highest intensity).

Twilight Sports

BodyPump

BodyPumpTM is the fastest way in which you can change your body shape.  Turn your body into a long, lean, calorie-burning machine.  A barbell class choreographed to motivating music that builds lean muscle and works out all muscle groups - this class is suitable for most fitness groups with no complex moves to be mastered.

RPMTM

RPM

RPMTM is the world's fastest fat-burning indoor cycling class.  Come and experience the "rock concert on wheels" - a real wokout that burns fat and defines muscle.  RPM ExtremeTM is a maximum intensity workout with two additional pedalling tracks, and RPM LiteTM is two tracks shorter than a normal class.

Aqua

Aqua

Aqua is a fantastic low-impact aerobic workout in the pool.  It has the added benefit of resistance training using water as the main tool.  Combined with dumbells and woggles, this class is great for variety, fun, and fitness.

Spin

Spin

Spin is a freestyle alternative to RPMTM (indoor cycling class).  The class is designed to work all muscle groups (not just the legs) and is choreographed to target fat burning and muscle tone, with an emphasis on stretching and relaxation at the end of the class to alleviate any muscle tenderness.

Boxfit

Boxfit

Boxfit is a medium to high intensity class of punching and kicking combinations using mitts and pads.  No complicated moves and no experience necessary - get ready to work out your frustrations and leave the class ready for the day ahead!  You will require a pair of glove inners for this class.

Fitball is a low to medium intensity exercise, designed to promote stability of the trunk, knees, hips, and abdominals.  This particular class is fantastic for beginners, people working on improving posture, and those looking to develop their core strength.

Litepace

Litepace

Litepace is a gentle exercise class for first-timers, the elderly, and people recovering from injury or illness.  This class consists of a gentle aerobic warmup, followed by a gym circuit supervised by one of our Cert IV Master Trainers.
