Martin Auster came to UNE in 1984 after working for some years as a town planner with the NSW Department of Urban Affairs and Planning, and before that in local government in England.
Affiliations
He is a member of the Planning Institute of Australia.
Areas of Teaching
At UNE he teaches in a range of subjects, including units dealing with architecture and urban design, planning law, and the social, economic and geographical implications of the internet and modern telecommunications in general.
Research interests
His research interests extend more broadly into the relationship between people and places.
