If you have deferred your science based studies at UNE, we would like you to join us at the upcoming Environmental and Rural Science (ERS) and Science and Technology (S&T) 2012 Deferrals Weekend 26-27 May. Come and see for yourself what sets UNE apart.
All meals and accommodation are provided free of charge for you and a friend. Treat yourself to a free weekend of university life in the beautiful city of Armidale. This is your opportunity to talk to lecturers, discuss study options, tour facilities as well as UNE’s residential colleges.

There are several ways to get to UNE from major cities:
- Drive: By road, Armidale and UNE is around 6 hours drive from Sydney and 5 hours from Brisbane on the New England Highway. UNE is about 2 hours from the NSW Mid-North Coast along the Waterfall Way.
- Fly: Qantas has several flights to and from Sydney each day. Brindabella Airlines flies between Armidale and Brisbane daily.
- Rail: The CountryLink Explorer runs between Sydney and Armidale daily. There are also connections with Coffs harbour, Port Macquarie and Tamworth.
- Bus: There are a range of options for bus travel between Sydney and Armidale and Brisbane and Armidale, including Greyhound Pioneer, McCaffertys and Edwards Coaches, Armidale. There are also bus links between Armidale, the Mid-North Coast and Hunter Valley.
