WBC Alliance Scholarship for Urban and Regional Planning

If you are from either Blayney Shire Council, Cabonne Council, or Wellington Shire Council, have high academic achievements, have been involved in leadership positions in school, clubs or the community and are enrolling in The Bachelor of Urban and Regional Planning, you have a chance of being awarded this scholarship.

Offers will be conditional on the applicant meeting all eligibility requirements upon enrolment (see WBC Alliance Scholarship for Urban and Regional Planning).

Value:

$8,500 pa full-time study or $4,250 part-time study for the duration of course

 Study Mode:  on-campus or off-campus

Closing date:  Last Friday in September

Eligibility:

  • open to students completing Year 12 and gap year students commencing university study in the Bachelor of Urban and Regional Planning
  • Applicants supported by UNExtra Early Entry will be considered
  • applications will also be accepted from continuing students (NB: must complete the continuing application form)
  • residents must be from either Blayney Shire Council, Cabonone Council or Wellington Shire Council

Selection is based on:

  • academic merit and;
  • involvement and leadership in school and community activities
  • commitment to the proposed course
  • a statement outlining how the recipient would use the funds and special reasons for being awarded the scholarship.

  • Commencing students - If you are applying for more than one of the scholarships listed on the Undergraduate Scholarships Application form, you should use the same form for all your applications
