Services UNE Limited Scholarship for Non-School Leavers and Returning Students
If you are an undergraduate student who is not entering university directly from high school and would benefit from financial support while undertaking study you have a chance of being awarded this scholarship.
Offers will be conditional on the applicant meeting all eligibility requirements upon enrolment (see Services UNE Limited Scholarship for Non-School Leavers and Returning Students).
Value: $5,000 for one year

Duration: One year with the opportunity to reapply in subsequent years
Closing Date: 29 June 2011
Eligibility:
- open to Australian citizen or permanent resident
- will not have studied at secondary or tertiary level for at least 5 years
- may have commenced a tertiary qualification, but cannot have completed a tertiary award
- resident of the New England region, but will not be a resident of a UNE College or affiliated college during the year in which the scholarship is awarded
- must be able to demonstrate financial disadvantage
Selection is based on:
- a statement outlining how you would benefit from the scholarship, and any disadvantage that you have overcome to return to tertiary study
- financial need
