The Sciences Undergraduate Scholarship
If you have high academic achievements, have been involved in leadership positions in school, clubs or the community and are applying for admission to an undergraduate science course at the University of New England you have a chance of being awarded this scholarship.
Offers will be conditional on the applicant meeting all eligibility requirements upon enrolment (see The Sciences Undergraduate Scholarship Terms and Conditions).
Value: $5,800 per annum for up to four years

Closing Date: Last Friday in September each year
Eligibility:
- open to students completing Year 12 and gap year students
- outstanding academic achievement – a UAI of at least 95 (or equivalent)
- applying for admission to an undergraduate science course
Selection is based on:
- academic merit as indicated by the applicant’s performance during the HSC or equivalent
- involvement and leadership in school and community activities
- commitment to the proposed course
- Principal’s assessment
