Penrith City Council/UNE Scholarship for Urban and Regional Planning
If you are considering enrolling in The Bachelor of Urban and Regional Planning and have been involved in leadership positions in school, clubs or the community you have a chance of being awarded this scholarship.
Offers will be conditional on the applicant meeting all eligibility requirements upon enrolment (see Penrith UNE Scholarship Terms and Conditions).
Value: $5,000 per annum for four years

Closing Date: Last Friday in September
Eligibility:
- open to students who have applied for full-time, on-campus or off-campus study in the year following admission to the Bachelor of Urban and Regional Planning
- a UAI of at least 75 (or equivalent) for students completing Year 12 and gap/s students; or
- a GPA of at least 4.5 or equivalent for students who have completed post-secondary or tertiary studies
- applicant's residential address must be within the Penrith City Council area
Selection is based on:
- academic merit as indicated by the applicant's performance in the HSC or equivalent for Year 12 and gap year/s students; or
- the basis of academic merit as indicated by recent academic records for direct off-campus admission students
- involvement and leadership in school and community activities
- commitment to the proposed course
- Principal's assessment for Year 12 and gap year/s students; or Academic Referee's Report for Non-year 12 students
If you are applying for more than one of the scholarships listed on the Undergraduate Scholarships Application form, you should use the same form for all your applications.
