Max Schroder UNE Scholarship

If you are an Indigenous Australian who qualifies for admission to an undergraduate course, or have completed the TRACKS Tertiary Preparation Program,  or you are a continuing student in an undergraduate course at UNE you have a chance of being awarded this scholarship.

Offers will be conditional on the applicant meeting all eligibility requirements upon enrolment (see Max Schroder UNE Scholarship Terms and Conditions).

Value: $6,000 per annum ($4,500 accommodation and $1,500 education costs) for maximum of 4 years

Applications open:  Mid-July

Closing date: Last Friday in September

Eligibility:

  • open to students completing Year 12 and gap year students, or
  • completed UNE's TRACKS program and achieved satisfacatory academic progress, or 
  • continuing student in an undergraduate study program who has achieved satisfactory academic progress

Selection is based on:

  • academic merit as indicated by the applicant's performance in the HSC (or equivalent) or recent academic results
  • involvement and leadership in school and community activities
  • commitment to the proposed course
  • Principal's assessment for commencing students or Academic Reference for continuing students

To apply:

  • If you are commencing study and applying for more than one of the scholarships listed on the Undergraduate Scholarships Application form, you should use the same form for all your applications.
  • If you are are continuing student and applying for more than one scholarship, you should use a separate application form for each application
