Kempsey Plains Shire Council/UNE Country Scholarship for Urban and Regional Planning
If you are from the country and have been involved in leadership positions in school, clubs or the community and are enrolling in a course in urban and regional planning, you have a chance of being awarded this scholarship.
Offers will be conditional on the applicant meeting all eligibility requirements upon enrolment (see Kempsey Shire Council UNE Country Scholarship Terms and Conditions).
Value: $5,000 per annum for four years

Closing Date: Last Friday in September - (not 2009)
Eligibility:
• open to students completing Year 12 and gap year students
• a UAI of at least 75 (or equivalent)
• applying for admission to a course in urban and regional planning
• preference to applicants where residential address is within the Kempsey Shire Council area
Selection is based on:
• academic merit as indicated by the applicant's performance in the HSC or equivalent
• involvement and leadership in school and community activities
• commitment to the proposed course
• Principal's assessment
