Inverell Shire/UNE Country Scholarship for Nursing
If you are from the country, have high academic achievements, have been involved in leadership positions in school, clubs or the community, and are considering the Bachelor of Nursing, you have a chance of being awarded this scholarship.
Offers will be conditional on the applicant meeting all eligibility requirements upon enrolment (see Inverell Shire Council/UNE Country Scholarship Terms and Conditions).
Value: $5,000 per annum for three years

Closing Date: Last Friday in September - (Not 2009)
Eligibility:
- open to students completing Year 12 and gap year students
- residents of regional or remote areas
- UAI of at least 75 (or equivalent)
- applying for admission to the Bachelor of Nursing
- residential address must be within the Inverell Local Government area
Selection is based on:
- academic merit as indicated by the applicant’s performance in the HSC or equivalent
- involvement and leadership in school and community activities
- commitment to the proposed course
- Principal’s assessment
