The EA Systems/UNE Scholarship

If you will be entering your final year or an honours year in the Bachelor of Agriculture Bachelor of Rural Science, Bachelor of Livestock Science and associated double degrees, or the Bachelor of Environmental Science and associated double degrees, or the Bachelor of Natural Resources and associated double degrees undergraduate courses at University of New England and hold a Credit average or above, or an equivalent GPA, you have a chance of being awarded this scholarship. Offers will be conditional on the applicant meeting all eligibility requirements. ( See EA Systems/UNE Scholarship Terms and Conditions).

Eligibility:

  • open to students entering their final year or an honours year in the Bachelor of Agriculture , Bachelor of Rural Science, Bachelor of Livestock Science and associated double degrees, or the Bachelor of Environmental Science and associated double degrees, or the Bachelor of Natural Resources and associated double degrees undergraduate courses at University of New England in 2008.
  • full-time, on-campus
  • The applicant will have a strong desire to work in areas related to the rural sector.
  • The applicant will attend an interview with EA Systems staff at one of the E.A. Systems offices across Australia (Wagga Wagga, Deniliquin, Mildura, Orange , Armidale or Toowoomba) prior to submitting an application to UNE.
  • The applicant must be willing to commit to work for a minimum of 24 months for E.A. Systems at any of the offices on a full time basis upon completion of their studies.

 Selection is based on:

  • academic merit as indicated by recent academic records
  • career aspirations, interpersonal and communication skills, initiative and self motivation
  • supporting statement commenting on the applicant's personal attributes
  • report from EA Systems on the applicant's interview.

 If you are applying for more than one scholarship, you should use a separate application form for each application. Arrange to have your Academic Referee's report forwarded to the Scholarships Officer by the due date.
