Drummond and Smith College Entrance Scholarship Bachelor of Social Work

If you have a record of high achievement in academia, applying for admission to the Bachelor of Social Work and involved in sports or community service or demonstrated leadership commitment, and are planning to reside in Drummond and Smith College, you have a chance of being awarded this scholarship.
Offers will be conditional on the applicant meeting all eligibility requirements upon enrolment (see Drummond and Smith College Entrance Scholarship for Bachelor of Social Work Terms and Conditions).

Closing Date:  Last Friday in September - Extended until 31st December 2008

Eligibility:

  • open to students completing Year 12 and  gap years students
  • applying for admission to the Bachelor of Social Work
  • high achievement in one of the following:
    • sporting excellence;
    • community service; or
    • demonstrated leadership commitment
  • Intend to reside in Drummond and Smith College.

Selection is based on:

  • academic merit as indicated by the applicant’s performance during the HSC or equivalent
  • high achievement in one of the following:
    • sporting excellence;
    • community service; or
    • demonstrated leadership commitment
  • preference given to applicants from a regional/remote area who can demonstrate a commitment to eventually supporting workforce planning in regional/remote communities
  • Principal's assessment
