Commonwealth Education Costs Scholarship
The Commonwealth Education Costs Scholarship is intended to assist with general education costs.
Offers will be conditional on the applicant meeting all eligibility requirements upon enrolment (see Commonwealth Education Costs Scholarship Terms and Conditions. Additional detail is provided in the Higher Education Support Act 2003 and is available on request).
Value: $2,207 per annum indexed for a maximum of 4 years

Eligibility:
- open to students completing Year 12 and continuing students applying for a Commonwealth supported position at UNE
- the applicant will study full-time on or off campus
- the applicant must meet the low socio-economic status criteria
Selection is based on:
- demonstrated financial need
- equity weightings assessed by UAC based on information provided by the applicant
- academic merit
Application must be made through the Universities Admissions Centre (UAC). This includes applicants applying through the Queensland Tertiary Admissions Centre (QTAC).
