CWA/Earle Page College Equity Scholarship

If you are considering living in one of the University residences and are a member of one of the equity target groups listed below, you have a chance of being awarded this scholarship. The recipient must reside Earle Page College.

Offers will be conditional on the applicant meeting all eligibility requirements upon enrolment (see CWA/Earle Page College Equity Scholarship Terms and Conditions).

Value: $2,000 for 1 year

Applicatioins open:  Mid July

Closing Date: 31 December 2011


Eligibility:

  • open to students completing Year 12 and gap year students
  • the applicant will meet the criteria of one of the following equity target groups
    • people from a low socio-economic background
    • people from regional or remote areas
    • Indigenous Australians
    • People with an educational disadvantage associated with gender
    • People with a disability
    • People from a non-English speaking background
  • intending to reside in Earle Page College

Selection is based on:

  • financial need
  • academic merit as indicated by the applicant’s performance during the HSC or equivalent
  • Principal’s assessment
  • the applicant may be required to attend an interview
