Booroongen Djugun Scholarship

If you are an Indigenous Australian who has a keen interest to a field of study in natural resource management, conservation management, environmental issues and/or land managment, you have a chance of being awarded this scholarship.

Offers will be conditional on the applicant meeting all eligibility requirements upon enrolment (see Booroongen Djugun Scholarship Terms and Conditions).

Value: $5,000 per annum for duration of course

Eligibility:

  1. applicant must be an Indigenous Australian
  2. open to students who qualifiy for admission to the TRACKS Tertiary Preparation Program; or
  3. students completing Year 12 and gap year students
  4. applying for admission to a field of study in a natural resource management, conservation management, environmental issues and/or land management

Selection is based on:

  1. academic merit as indicated by the applicant’s performance during the HSC (or equivalent), or recent academic results
  2. involvement and leadership in school and community activities
  3. commitment to the proposed course
  4. Principal’s assessment

If you are applying for more than one of the scholarships listed on the Undergraduate Scholarships Application form, you should use the same form for all your applications.
