Hugh Barker Memorial Scholarship
If you are from the country, have high academic achievements, have been involved in leadership positions in school, clubs or the community and are applying for admission to a Bachelor of Rural Science or a Bachelor of Agricultural and Resource Economics, you have a chance of being awarded this scholarship.
Offers will be conditional on the applicant meeting all eligibility requirements upon enrolment (see Hugh Barker Memorial Scholarship Terms and Conditions).
Value: $400 per annum for the duration of the course

Closing Date: Last Friday in September each year
Eligibility:
- open to students completing Year 12 and gap year students
- applicant must reside in the Murrurundi or Quirindi areas
- applicant must be able to demonstrate financial disadvantage
- applying for admission to a Bachelor of Rural Science or a Bachelor of Agricultural and Resource Economics
Selection is based on:
- academic merit as indicated by the applicant’s performance during the HSC or equivalent
- financial need
- Principal’s assessment
