How to Apply for Undergraduate Scholarships at UNE

Commencing students - school leavers (including gap year students):

  1. Please read the Terms and Conditions that are linked to the scholarship that you are interested in.
  2. Check that you are eligible for that scholarship and that you think you can meet the selection criteria.
  3. School leavers can obtain an Undergraduate Scholarships Book at UNE from either their Careers Advisor or from the UNE scholarship website http://www.une.edu.au/scholarships/undergraduate/
  4. To apply for a scholarship you must:
    Remove the appropriate scholarship application form from the booklet
    Write your UAC or QTAC number and name at the top of each page
    Complete all sections of the Scholarship Application Form
    Gather any additional documentation required by the Terms and Conditions of the Scholarship
    Deliver the complete form and additional information to the Careers Adviser (or whoever is responsible for them at your school)
    Your school will complete the Principal’s Report form and then they will  submit your application to Advanced Standing and Scholarships Section, Student Central, University of New England NSW 2351 or you can also email the application to http://www.une.edu.au/askune/ marked attention to Advanced Standing and Scholarship Section.
  5. There is no application fee.
  6. If you completed Year 12 (or equivalent) in 2010 or 2011, and are commencing university study for the first time in 2013 you are a ‘gap year’ student and eligible to apply for any undergraduate scholarship listed for school leavers.
    To apply for a scholarship you must:
    Remove the appropriate scholarship application form from the booklet
    Write your name at the top of each page
    Complete all sections of the Scholarship Application Form
    Gather any additional documentation required by the Terms and Conditions of the Scholarship
    Deliver the complete form and additional information to the Careers Adviser (or whoever is responsible for them at your school)

Scholarships are also available for other future students and continuing students.
