Scholarships at UNE
UNE is committed to helping students to reach their potential by offering a wide range of scholarship opportunities. There are different types of scholarships available:
- Undergraduate Scholarships for Future Students
Let UNE recognise and reward your strengths. The UNE undergraduate scholarship round for future students doing their first degree, including school leavers and gap year students. - Undergraduate Scholarships for Current Students
There are a number of scholarships available to students who are continuing their Bachelor degree studies at UNE. Commonwealth, degree-specific, sporting and general scholarships are available to eligible students. For residential college cash awards and subsidies, contact the Head of the relevant residence. The closing date for these scholarships varies from the end of September to 31 January each year. - Commonwealth Scholarships for New and Current Undergraduate Students
- Scholarships for Postgraduate Research Students
Postgraduate students can apply for a number of substantial scholarship opportunities at UNE. Supervisors will advise you on other ways of pursuing funding and support for your research. - Scholarships for Non School Leavers Commencing Nursing or Teaching Awards
The University of New England has established a scholarship for undergraduate students who are not entering university directly from high school and would benefit from financial support while undertaking study. The Teaching and Nursing Scholarships for Non School Leavers are open to those who will commence full-time, on or off campus studies in an undergraduate course in either Nursing or Teaching in the year following application.
Early Entry and Scholarships at UNE
The Undergraduate scholarship round for students commencing study in 2012 will open mid-July and most school leaver scholarships will close the end of September 2012 or the end of December 2012, depending on the scholarship.
