Facilities
The Computer Room (located above the Dining Hall) is accessible between 9am-4:30pm (afterhours access can be arranged if needed). There is a College MFD Printer located in the foyer of the West Court, which provides printing, photocopying and scanning facilities. All college rooms have internet access.
The Laundries are open 24/7. Students provide their own powder/liquid and the use of washing machines is free. Clothes dryers, lines and drying rooms are also provided.
The Dining Room is open from 7:15am until 6:45pm each day. Tea, Coffee, Hot and Cold water and Cordial are available throughout the day.
There is plenty of Parking around Robb College and across the campus.
Your room is centrally heated, has National Broadband Network access and a personal phone line. To make your room feel as much like home as possible feel free to bring posters, photos, fairy lights and a pet fish! Your bed, bedding (linen is cleaned for you), desk, cupboard, mirror and shelving are all provided. There is a common room and a kitchenette in each of the Courts. We recommend bringing some utensils, plates, bowls and mugs for late night study snacks of noodles and milo. What else to bring? You’ll need some formal outfits for academic dinners, but save your best outfit for the Annual Robb College Ball. Formal dinners are a great chance to celebrate the College’s achievements in sport, culture and academia. There are lots of chances to dress up to a range of themes at college for charity nights and college functions. So, if you have a great costume, bring it along and you’ll get some use out of it! You’ll need some sporting gear, even if you are no sports-star Robb students play social to serious sport from touch footy on the front lawn to winning Netball, Hockey and Rugby finals. Oh, and don’t forget the other vitals – washing basket and pegs, towels and toiletries, and everything you need to study, after all – that is why we are all here!
The College Office is open 9am-5pm Weekdays. Drop in and visit Amber (who’ll help you with any problems, keys, meal cards etc) and Glenn (College Head).
Mail is delivered to the college each week day. Letters are put in the pigeon holes and you’ll receive a slip to let you know if you have a parcel to pick up from the office. So Mum can send you a care package, and you don’t have to kick your online shopping hobby!
Your address at College is ‘Your name’ Robb College, University of New England, Armidale, NSW, 2351
