Welcome to Robb College!
It is my pleasure to provide you with an overview of why Robb College is the leading college at the University of New England.
Robb College has a strong and traditional history that has helped shape the caring and supportive college community we live in today. We have students from all across the country at Robb and we are proud of the diverse backgrounds our students bring to Robb. Together, we share and celebrate the Robb spirit in our minds and in our hearts and walk the path of success together.
What makes Robb different to other Colleges is the strong bond between all our students. Whether it is the casual conversation in the hallways, the fellowship in the dining hall during examination study or the banter at the many social functions throughout the year, Robb students stand shoulder-to-shoulder proud of their College and proud of their mates.
Robb students are never afraid to tackle what others say is too difficult. Robb College has held a number of world records including the world’s biggest painting, the longest game of continuous netball and the longest distanced rollerbladed. Students from Robb also raise significant money each year for a variety of charities in our annual Project Week. The Robb spirit is about supporting your community.
Robb College also has a significantly strong background in sport. This is largely due to the level of participation amongst our students. At Robb, you are not selected because of your ability to play sport; rather, you are selected because you want to participate in being a member of our teams. At Robb you have the opportunity to participate in a variety of sports and to learn and practice valuable skills that will assist you in reaching your potential.
When you join Robb College, you can be assured of support from the College leadership team, the Senior Common Room and from the Robb Alumni. Our past students provide support by networking with our current students and assisting with field placement, advice and jobs. With the strongest Alumni of any College, the Robb spirit still burns in the hearts and minds of our past students.
I encourage you to carefully consider the options available to you at other Colleges and if your desire is to have a great experience while reaching your personal best at University, then I can assure you that your experience at Robb will live up to these expectations.
