Transfer of a Nominated
First-Aid Officer
In the instance that a nominated FAO transfers to another position within the University there are two situations that may occur:
Cost Centre Change; |
Physical Location Change. |
In each instance consideration must be given to how the nomination and allowance of the First-Aid Officer is affected.
The FAO transfers to a new position which remains within the same cost centre. The FAO must complete a Change of Nominated First-Aid Officer Details form and send to the Workplace Risk Management Unit. |
The FAO transfers to a new position which comes under a different cost centre. Before leaving the original position, the FAO must notify the Head/Director/Dean that they will no longer be assuming the duties of the nominated FAO for that level. The Head/Director/Dean then must complete the Cessation of a First-Aid Officer form and send to the Workplace Risk Management Unit. If the FAO will be continuing as the nominated FAO for the new position and the cost centre has changed, the FAO must notify the NEW Head/Director/Dean who then must fill in a Nominated First-Aid Officer Details form and send to the Workplace Risk Management Unit. |
