In the instance of a nominated first-aid officer in the employ of institutions other than UNE such as: AGBU, CRC etc.

The First-aid Officer will still be governed by the Occupational Health & Safety (First-Aid) Regulations 1989 and University Policy on First-Aid.

The only exception to University Policy for the First-Aid Officers are the instructions on first-aid allowance. As these institutions operate separately from the University the payment processes of the first-aid allowance will remain the responsibility of that institution.
