 Responding to an incident

The Occupational Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulation(1989) requires the provision of First Aid kits, nominated First Aid Officers in prescribed locations and in some circumstances a First Aid Room.

These regulations have been implemented at UNE and the names and contact numbers of First Aid Officers are published accordingly in workplaces.

All injuries/illnesses are to be reported on the Accident/Illness Report Form available from supervisors, administrative staff or the Workplace Risk Management Unit.
