About the Scholarship
Established by UNE alumna, Gail MacDonell, the Australian Families of the Military Research and Support Foundation (AFOM) is a Foundation set up by past and current serving Australian Military Personnel and their families. Their mission is to advance the health and wellbeing of partners and families of past and current serving Australian Military Personnel.
AU$1,500pa for up to 3 years.
The recipient must be enrolled as a PhD student at UNE in an area of study related to post traumatic stress disorder. Preference will be given for research on military families, frontline responders and their families.
When to Apply
Scholarship applications should be submitted by the 1 December 2017.
How to Apply
Please submit a written application (750- 1000 words) including the title and a summary of the PhD project and the expected outcomes pertaining to the PhD project and how this relates to the mission of the AFOM.
