Future Research Leaders' Program (FRLP)
The Future Research Leaders Program provides best practice training in financial management, grant administration, business planning, commercialisation and technology transfer, corporate governance, financial reporting, acquittal and audit requirements to current and emerging researchers in universities who are identified as future research leaders. Program participants commence with an online induction/orientation module designed for researchers who are new to universities. The subsequent eight modules seek to prepare participants for future roles as managers of research grants and leaders of research teams. The online content is supported by a series of 3-hour workshops.
FORTHCOMING WORKSHOP DETAILS - Recommended reading: Module 2 (Commencement and Collaboration), Module 3 (Governance and Compliance) & Module 7 (Managing and Leading People in a Research Context)
The 3-hour Workshop will complement themes covered in the online content for Modules 2, 3 & 7. There will also be a presentation on research data management. The workshop will provide you with an opportunity to network with other colleagues, to compare experiences and to consolidate the learning that has occurred through reading the online content. If you are familiar with the content of the online modules it will promote interesting questions and discussion during the workshop.
