How to Apply for Postgraduate Research Courses

Find an Academic Faculty/School

You are encouraged, as a first step, to determine your preferred field of study, and find the Faculty or Academic School which will best meet your requirements.  You can do this by browsing the list of Schools and Research Centres.

You then need to identify potential supervisors by visiting the staff pages of each Faculty and or School and identify a supervisor who matches your area of research interest.
You may contact a potential supervisor to discuss your project prior to applying for admission.

You may also wish to browse the many research degree courses and units available.

Determine Your Research Topic

You should discuss your proposed research with either the Head of School or prospective supervisor. These staff can provide you with assistance concerning your choice of topic and advise you on the preparation of your research proposal.
