The University of New England has embarked on an exciting new path towards achieving the vision of a bold Strategic Plan to ‘achieve regional and global impact’. As part of this Plan, UNE’s academic structure has been reorganised to provide greater focus in our teaching and research. The next step in the Plan is to enhance the leadership team at UNE through the appointment of a Professorial Head in each of the University’s 10 new Schools.This is an exciting opportunity for 10 academic leaders and managers from a wide range of disciplines to make a difference and provide essential impetus to the future achievements of the University.

Remuneration: Appointment to the position of Head of School will be on a full-time basis with some time allowed for scholarly activity; for a period of five years, which may be renewable, subject to satisfactory performance. An attractive remuneration package including a performance based bonus will be negotiated with the successful applicants. The University offers attractive superannuation and salary packaging options.
