Laboratory Officer (Fixed-term)

This position will be located in The National Centre for Rural Greenhouse Gas Research, a Centre that sits within The Primary Industries Innovation Centre (PIIC), which is situated at UNE. The appointee will undertake soil analyses associated with the National Soil Carbon Research Program (NSW Node). The position will require the application of significant expertise relevant to the requirements of the project including soil preparation and analyses and provision of technical advice to staff and students and other participants with the NSCRP (NSW) project team.
Applications must have a relevant degree; or a relevant associate diploma with relevant work experience; or an equivalent alternative combination of relevant knowledge, training and/or experience. This is a fixed-term position available until 1 December 2011, with the possibility of further appointment subject to satisfactory performance and the availability of funding.
