The Primary Industries Innovation Centre (PIIC) is a joint venture partnership between Industry and Investment NSW and the University of New England (UNE) to boost primary industries research, extension and training outcomes with a special focus on the New England - North West Region of NSW. The Centre is seeking to appoint a Research Project Manager to manage the NSW node of the national Soil Carbon Research Program. The project is funded by the Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry. The successful applicant must be appropriately qualified with relevant experience to undertake and manage research in consultation with the project steering committee.
This fixed-term, 0.8 fractional position is available until 31 October 2011 with possibility of further appointment subject to funding and satisfactory performance.
