The Information Technology Directorate at the University of New England is looking for an ambitious, motivated, self-starter to fill a vacancy within the Directorate's Infrastructure Services. This fixed-term position is available until 31 December 2010 with the possibility of further appointment, and/or conversion to a continuing appointment, subject to satisfactory performance and the availability of funding.
This position is advertised at multiple levels, offering an excellent opportunity for both those with some experience and proven experience in server administration to apply. The position is available as Senior Server Administrator HEO Level 7, Server Administrator HEO Level 6 or HEO Level 5. Applicants should state which level they are applying for and address the relevant selection criteria. Applicants can apply at more than one level.
Current technologies employed in which experience will be highly regarded include Storage Area Networks, Legato Networker, Apache Tomcat application servers, VMware virtualisation technologies, Redhat based Linux distributions, BEA Weblogic application servers, networking and load balancing technologies.
