The role of International Marketing and Pathways is to meet the University's objectives in relation to the recruitment and admission of international students.
The Admissions Assistant will be responsible for the procedural aspects of the admission process for all international students considering enrolment in a UNE course including degree and English Language programs offered full-time on the Armidale campus, distance education programs and full-time domestic partner delivered programs.
Applicants must be able to demonstrate: sound written and oral communication skills and experience in dealing with people of culturally diverse backgrounds; the ability to work independently and as part of a team; ability to identify and set priorities; high level computing skills; and sound knowledge or experience of interpreting and implementing policies and procedures. This position would ideally suit someone who wishes to embark on a career in international education administration. Armidale is only two hours from the mid north coast and is a unique regional centre that offers all the facilities of a much larger city. Recognised as a centre for culture, Armidale is well served for art, music, theatre and public and private education.
