Office of Advancement

The Office of Advancement is responsible for leading and coordinating activities and services associated with the University of New England's alumni, supporters, donors (current and prospective), and the wider community.  The incumbent will work as part of the team fulfilling these aims through project management and initiatives (including affinity telemarketing) and supporting events to raise awareness and income for the University. 

This fixed-term position is available for a two year period.  There is the possibility of further appointment, and/or conversion to a continuing appointment, subject to funding and satisfactory performance.

Applicants must have:  initiative with strong planning, project and time management skills; experience in development of policy and procedures, preferably in philanthropy or equivalent; ability to write effectively and persuasively to various audiences and membership or eligibility for membership of the Fundraising Institute of Australia, CASE or similar relevant professional organisation.

This position would ideally suit someone who wishes to retain their career focus while also having the desire for a life-style change in beautiful Armidale, New England. Armidale is surrounded by world heritage national parks, is only two hours from the mid north coast and is a unique regional centre that offers all the facilities of a much larger city. Recognised as a centre for culture, Armidale is well served with high quality art, music, theatre and public and private education.

Salary

$61,149 to $68,466 per annum (HEO Level 7)
plus 17% employer superannuation and optional salary packaging
