Web Support Officer: DEHub Innovation in Distance Learning (Half-time, Fixed-term)

This position operates within the wider framework of the DEHub Project but is specifically responsible for providing web programming support for development of a comprehensive website with information and resources. The successful applicant will provide specialist assistance with web design construction and maintenance in addition to the maintenance of up-to-date information about the project and its developments, and will liaise and collaborate with project staff and other stakeholders to identify and develop the most appropriate web based technologies, content and requirements for the relevant website. Applicants must have demonstrated work experience in multimedia programming, website construction tools and other convergent technologies; familiarity with scripting or programming languages used in a variety of cross-platform multimedia applications; and experience with image manipulation and animation for multimedia development and delivery in a variety of formats. The position is available for 12 months with the possibility of further appointment subject to satisfactory performance and availability of funding. The position is initially for 17.5 hours per week, however hours may vary and be increased to full-time.
