INTERNAL TRANSFER OPPORTUNITY Applications are invited from current permanent and fixed-term staff members of the University (who have been appointed as a result of an advertised position or who have continuously occupied an unadvertised position for more than twelve (12) months at the closing date) for the following position. The SRM project is one of the key Work Place Productivity (WPP) funded initiatives for 2008. The SRM system is fundamental to the delivery of rapid information to current and prospective students, and to efficient and effective student enquiry management. UNE’s system uses the platform provided by RightNow Technologies. Reporting to the WPP Project Director, the SRM Coordinator will be an integral senior member of the SRM project team during 2008, involved in all aspects of project management, system development and roll out. From 2009, the appointee will become part of the Student Administration and Services (SA&S) team, providing high level coordination, and support to SA&S management for all matters related to the SRM system, including planning, AskUNE content, technical matters, staff training, management reporting and business process improvement activities. Applicants must have: some knowledge and experience in working with CRM systems, including a solid understanding of their purpose, proper application and functionality; commitment to continuous improvement, with some knowledge and experience in the use of business process improvement techniques; high level interpersonal and oral and written communication skills, with the ability to write and edit concise, informative and relevant information for students for presentation online; and the ability to consult with and survey students and other users to test content quality.
