Human Resource Services at the University of New England covers the areas of Employment Equity and Diversity, Industrial Relations, Client Services, including Establishment, Recruitment, Remuneration Benefits and Systems, Occupational Health and Safety and Organisational Development.

The appointee to this position will be responsible and accountable for facilitating the integration of employment equity and diversity principles into the operation of UNE and for ensuring that the University meets its legislative requirements in these areas.

Applicants must have demonstrated expertise in an area such as anti-discrimination, student equity or equity and diversity, demonstrated management and leadership skills, the ability to adapt legislative requirements appropriately, outstanding oral and written communication skills as well as demonstrated high level interpersonal, mediation and conflict resolution skills.

Salary: $67,055 to $77,819 per annum (HEO Level 8)
plus 17% employer superannuation and optional salary packaging
