Manager, Applications Management Services

Applications Management Services is a highly solutions orientated and customer focused group located within the ITD providing a range of professional expertise and services including project management, business analysis and process design, systems analysis, planning, development, implementation, integration and maintenance in the support of UNE’s purpose and strategic objectives.

This is one of several senior management positions within ITD which will be responsible and accountable for the provision of and smooth operation of Information Technology to the University. The Manager, Applications Management Services will have a clear vision on the delivery of IT services and the relationship of industry trends with the strategic directions of both the University and the Directorate. The incumbent will be able to articulate this vision and lead Applications Management Services.

Applicants should have: thorough knowledge and understanding of current industry trends regarding information systems; proven management experience in the areas of human resources, finance, strategic and operational planning and policy development; and extensive experience in the management and leadership of technical staff and/or cross functional teams.
