Senior Lecturer/Lecturer in Nursing

The School of Health is located in the Faculty of The Professions at the University of New England and comprises an inter-disciplinary team offering courses in nursing, counselling, gerontology, complementary and allied health, and health management. The programs offer undergraduate and postgraduate coursework and research degrees. These programs consistently attract a large number of students from around Australia and are widely recognised for producing high quality health professional graduates. Excellence in health professional competencies is one of the hallmarks of our courses. In addition UNE has a proud record in research and attracting academic staff who make contributions to the scholarship advancement of their discipline. The School and Faculty have increased the number of postgraduate research students that come to study at UNE.

The successful applicant will provide innovative leadership in the delivery of teaching and further developing the coursework curriculum of our undergraduate and postgraduate programs, contribute to the research outcomes of the School, take an active role in postgraduate research supervision, contribute to the development of partnership programs both in Australia and overseas, and enhance its clinical excellence reputation.

There is one full-time position available which could be filled at either the Senior Lecturer or Lecturer level. Consideration may be given to filling the position with more than one part-time appointment and this could be across the two levels, dependent on the staffing needs of the School.
