Lecturer in Biomedical Sciences (2 Positions)

School of Science and Technology

The School of Science and Technology wishes to appoint two (2) Lecturers in Biomedical Sciences. The School encompasses a number of disciplines including Biomedical Sciences, Chemistry, Physics, Molecular Biology, Mathematics, Statistics and Computer Science.

The appointees will teach into units in human physiology and human health science and other areas as appropriate, to medical, nursing, allied and complementary health and science students and undertake research in an area aligned to strategic areas of research as identified by the School and UNE. These will include areas represented in the Centre for Bioactive Discovery in Health and Ageing within the School. Preference may be given to applicants with a demonstrated track record in teaching and research in one of the following areas: cardiovascular/exercise physiology, endocrinology, haematology, immunology, pharmacology, neuroscience, nutrition, and reproduction.

Salary: $68,796 to $81,535 per annum (Lecturer)
plus 17% employer superannuation and optional salary packaging
