Senior Lecturer in Finance (4 Year Fixed-term)

School of Business, Economics and Public Policy

The School of Business, Economics and Public Policy is a leader in research and teaching of Accounting, Marketing, Human Resource Management, Finance, Management Development and Economics. The School has established a partnership for delivery of its undergraduate and postgraduate business programs and is seeking to appoint an academic staff member to be based in Sydney to the position of senior lecturer in finance. The person must be appropriately qualified with relevant academic experience to teach and undertake research in finance, and have administrative skills to manage quality assurance processes.

The appointee will be expected to undertake and to develop and coordinate some coursework units and to undertake some administrative duties. The appointee will be expected to pursue a research program, including supervision of research students and demonstrate an ability to incorporate international relevancy in teaching. The successful candidate must have an ability to work effectively in a team environment.

This is a four (4) year fixed-term appointment with the possibility of further appointment subject to satisfactory performance and the availability of funding.

Salary: $84,081 to $96,822 per annum (Senior Lecturer)
plus 17% employer superannuation and optional salary packaging
