The discipline of Psychology at UNE is a leader in teaching and research in the areas of health, clinical, and cognitive psychology. The discipline seeks to appoint a full-time continuing academic staff member, at the lecturer level, in the area of Clinical Psychology. The position involves contributing to teaching in psychology’s undergraduate and postgraduate clinical training programs, providing practicum supervision to clinical students, contributing to administration within the discipline and school, and maintaining a productive research program. Applicants must have a recognised qualification in Clinical Psychology, and a PhD in Psychology from an accredited psychology program (Applicants who are near completion will be considered). This position would ideally suit someone who wishes to retain their career focus while also having the desire for a life-style change in Armidale, New England. Armidale is surrounded by world heritage national parks, is only 2 hours from the mid north coast and is a unique regional centre that offers all the facilities of a city. Recognised as a centre for culture, Armidale is well served for art, music, theatre and education, both public and private.
