The Research Grants Officer will be responsible for providing support and advice to researchers, providing high quality services and initiatives for capacity development, identifying new research opportunities and identifying and facilitating collaborative research on an internal and external basis. Applicants must have demonstrated significant specialist knowledge in management of research, preferably in research grants management, with proven extensive, current knowledge of research management issues, trends and innovations; demonstrated superior interpersonal and communication skills with a demonstrated ability in consultation and negotiation, and the ability to liaise at all levels and demonstrated high level client services orientation, with demonstrated experience and awareness of the importance of a client service focus.
