This position will provide leadership to an operational team in Human Resource Services, in order to provide day-to-day administrative personnel functions to support the University’s human resource direction and management. The appointee will provide specialist support and services across the broad range of personnel management, including contractual matters and employment conditions as well as the basic operational areas within personnel, including establishment, recruitment, payroll, superannuation and leave, and maintaining the integrity of the data held in the University’s HR Management Information System (Alesco). Applicants must have excellent team leadership and high level organisational skills with the ability to identify problems and ensure quality team outputs, good knowledge of a range of personnel administrative operations and functions, including the appropriate application of Management Information Systems; and excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills with the ability to liaise at all levels.
