Working with the Chief Development Officer and UNE Foundation, this newly created, exciting position will pursue philanthropic funds and opportunities that support the University’s core academic and research pursuits in its strategy to focus on regional to global impact in areas of excellence for the UNE. This position will prepare and manage fundraising, giving and community engagement campaigns across UNE Foundation, Alumni and Development functions. The incumbent will be responsible for creating a comprehensive philanthropic plan for the University, developing and maintaining close working relationships and networks with all donors, raising the University’s profile across relevant industries for UNE’s strategic priorities and strengths. Applicants must have: demonstrated proven experience in successful fundraising for large organisations; proven successful relationship management/networking and entrepreneurial experience; and proven skills in developing strategic and business plans for philanthropic and other giving activity relevant to a higher education environment. The position is available for a fixed-term of two (2) years, renewable by mutual agreement. An attractive remuneration package will be negotiated with the successful applicant. The University offers generous superannuation and has attractive options for salary packaging.
