Teaching and Learning Centre

These positions will work with academic staff and Teaching and Learning Centre staff to enhance the quality of the teaching and learning process and resources. This may involve working in a team environment to design and develop high quality teaching and learning materials and resources using a range of media; the conduct of professional development activities; and the evaluation of project outcomes and processes. Applicants must have successful experience as a lecturer or teacher; demonstrated expertise, experience and excellence in the planning, development and evaluation of courses, units or other education programs which use the Web and multimedia, print, video and audio; and recent knowledge of education theory and practice appropriate to the projects to be undertaken. Knowledge and experience of/about at least one or more discipline areas such as nursing, business studies, agricultural sciences, education, social sciences, academic skills and mathematics literacy for tertiary students would be favourably regarded. Several positions are available to work on projects with time periods of six months, one year, two years and three years. Applicants should indicate in their application their preferred contract period. Consideration may be given to filling these positions on a less than full-time basis and subject to funding and satisfactory performance there is the possibility of further appointment.
