The prize will bge awarded subject to the following conditions:

Prize value |
The prize is valued at $2000.00 and will be paid into the student's nominated account following the census date of 31st March of the year following High School graduation |

When is the prize awarded? |
The prize will be awarded to the student at the designated High School and may include UNE representation at a Valedictory presentation or Award function. This is normally in September. The High School will notify UNE should a representative be requested |

What will the student receive? |
The student will receive a presentation pack containing the following:
In addition the Prize will be recorded as an achievement and will appear on the student's Australian Higher Education Graduation Statement (AHEGS). The student will also be asked to approve their name being placed on the UNE website listing prize winners |

How will the winner be determined? |
In July of each year, a letter will be sent to the Principal of nominated High Schools. The Principal will be invited to participate in the prize round and will be required to provide the following information:
The High School will nominate the winner bgased on their internal selection processes. Details will be sent to the Executive Assistant of the Director of Student Administration and Services for processing. A presentation pack will be prepared and

How will the prize be paid? |
On the 1st April each year, there will be a check to determine the student's enrolment status. If the status is active, a letter will be sent to the student with a form requesting payment details. This is a once only payment in the first year of university study at UNE |

Will the student be eligible for other University prizes and scholarships? |
Yes. Winners of the prize will be entitled to apply for scholarships and may be awarded a separate prize by a School within UNE |
